Railway power grid is located at R.E Colony ,P Block,chakradharpur.It supplies the electricity over all the railway colony areas. The powergrid is handling along with its decoration also. The employees and workers of this grid are much focus on its decorations.In Summer season the transformers of Powergrid get often blast due to overload of electricity used.The railway electrical Department little negligence determine the activities in this case but the electrical Department that situation arising from it as soon as repair and activities.

रेलवे पावर ग्रिड चक्रधरपुर रेल नगर के आर ई कॉलोनी के पी ब्लॉक मे उपस्थित है।यह पावर ग्रिड चक्रधरपुर के सभी रेल छेत्रों में बिजली उपलब्ध कराती है। इस पावर ग्रिड के रख रखाव के साथ साथ इसकी सजावट भी की जाती है ।यहाँ पर कार्यरत कर्मचारी इसकी सजावट में भी काफी ध्यान देते है । गर्मी के दिनों में विद्युत अतिभार के कारण ये पावर ग्रिड अक्सर ब्लास्ट कर जाती है जिसपर रेलवे विद्युत विभाग थोड़ा लापरवाही ब्यक्त करती है । हलाकि चक्रधरपुर विद्युत् विभाग ऐसी स्थिती उत्पन्न होने से जल्द से जल्द इसकी मरम्मत करती है।
